"Dreadful"To sum up my experience at 219, a beautiful and swanky atmosphere was completely wasted by extremely rude and pretentious staff. I never plan to return and definitely would not recommend this to anyone. Advice to owner(s) and management: Revaluate your bartenders and their customer service/lack thereof.

"this place just sucks"ordered a burger, was told to come back in 20-25 minutes came back in 20 minutes to check they said the order never got in and it would be 45 minutes to an hour more I said "You told me 20-25 minutes". They said "Do you want your money back?". I said sure. No apology, did absolutely nothing to make it right.

Went there with my wife on Saturday, June 6. Some friends met us later than evening for drinks. This place has it all. Very good, reasonably priced food. Very good drinks and service to match. It also brings out Austin's beautiful people so the scenery is solid. Great location.

"Great scene, awful service, food even worse than that"Some friends I popped into the Belmont for dinner on a Friday night. There was a two-hour wait for a dinner table, but hey, it's Austin. We saw in the bar and ordered drinks. It took 20 minutes for them to arrive. Same problem with the next round, and at this point the place wasn't even that crowded. The beeper the restaurant gave us kept emitting a single loud BEEEEP! every ten seconds...

"stinky service"when we eat at hyde park we always have bad service. food is good and we love the pictures on the walls when we go in BUT the service stinks literally. last time we ate there our waiter smelled like an ashtray. We were glad he wasn't around much.
