"Poor poor bar"went here to try to watch a game on tv and they told me over the phone they had it. so when we got there and asked them to put it on no one could figure it out and didn't seem to care at all. the bar was also super dirty and the bar service was rude and slow. won't ever go back!
"Rhino's N Jocks by Tiffany K. at InsiderPages "My husband and I ate here one night when we were looking for something new & different than our usual. We've always seen the place, but never ate there so we figured we'd give it a try. The inside seemed a little dark & gloomy and not necessarily dirty but definitely not freshly cleaned either. We were the only people in there but the service was still incredibly slow and the food really...

"Yummy Honey Mustard & Hawaiian BBQ Burger"This place has the BEST Honey Mustard ever for dipping, spreading, etc. I had some sort of Hawaiian BBQ Burger with a big pineapple slice on it, along with BBQ sauce and bacon. Yum. The serveress was quick and friendly, and the place is cool. The rest of the menu looks good too. My date had Mac and Cheese, and it was actually cheesy, versus the cheese-like liquid that is on most restauraunts...
"Bad service spoils the evening"The service at our visit to the Tavern was just horrible! Our "server" would not stop by for thirty minutes at a time, so we couldn't place orders. When he did take orders, he only took them from half the table and then wander off. He also only brought half of the drinks and never came back with the second half! We talked to a manager and eventually got our missing drinks, but not before the...

"I had the best time!"Me and my boyfriend were visitng Austin and walking around 6th street and one of the Coyote Ugly bouncers stopped us and was trying to convince us to come in but we were headed to dinner so we said we'd be back. After having a couple of drinks, we went back to Coyote Ugly and needless to say, I hopped myself up on the bar and did some dancing! The bartenders were really nice and handed out...
"thumbs down"Stay at home and watch the movie. Yes, the bartenders are cute, but any other bar on 6th street will have much more cuter girls, they just don't happen to be dancing on the bar. Spending more than one drink in this bar for the novelty is not recommended

"the raddest bar downtown"This place is my fave. All of the staff is really nice and generous with the strength of the alcohol in drinks. I like how dark it is inside. You can see what you need to but everyone's flaws aren't on display. The customers here are really cool...on any given night I run into at least three people I know. I do agree with the complaint about the bathrooms, but that's the only con I can...

"Such a Diverse Crowd"Creek side lounge is such a great place, there are so many different type of people that go here and everytime I have been here I've had such a lovely time. They have a Wii and Hula-Hoops, you can't go wrong with those two. The music is also always shockingly good. We usually go here before Beauty Bar.

"World Series Game 1"I have no significant complaints about this venue.
My wife was watching the way the bartender was cleaning the glasses and thought the method wasn't thorough enough, but that's how my wife is. Anyway, she's just a guest and not an Austin MLB member, so she doesn't get a vote.
The only other concern I have is about what a manager at Riata told me a couple of days before World Series Game 1....
"Worst service ever"While I was pregnant I ate there at least twice a week and always brought new people to try it out because I loved the food.
Today we ran there for lunch since we just work down the street at Apple. We were seated as soon as we walked in and ordered within 5 minutes of arriving. Fifty minutes later after being told twice that our food was next and would be right out we had to get to go boxes...

"Drinks & V'ball"The main draw to Aussies is the sand volleyball and the cheap drinks. Even if you don't play, it's fun to watch and hang out outside with everyone. They have free pick-up volleyball almost every night after 11pm.
The food is nothing special, just your typical bar food. If you choose to eat inside, you can play an interactive trivia game through the TVs mounted throughout the restaurant.
"The Honest Truth"I play in a league at Aussie's, but I only go there for the volleyball. Do not go waiting for good, quick service or good food (other than the burgers). But if you like beer and/or ritas and people-watching, it's a definite yes. Just don't expect anything more and you'll be fine.

"New Face ~ Great Place"They have recently done a lot of much needed updates to make this friendly neighborhood bar a north Austin destination. Great drink prices, friendly staff and fun customers.
"Overpriced Overpriced Overpriced"Sure, I like this bar. It's unique like the other reviews say, but their prices are simply out of line with the rest of Austin. It's just not that awesome to charge what they do.

"North Austin, this is the bar where everybody knows your name. "This well-hidden location features more flat screens than most downtown upscale bars. In addition to the regular sports showings, the Hideout keeps a steady stream of new and favorite movies showing to showcase this fact. The wait staff is pleasant, but not sickly sweet. Drinks are made the way you expect and are among the best priced in town. The decor is nothing to write home about and...

"Go to the Ranch"I absolutely LOVE this place. I love it almost as much as I love my Affliction shirt. Im not even sure what Affliction means but I do know that I rock that shirt hard. I love how it has a V-neck. I love that there are spirally dragons all over it. I love that the V-neck perfectly shows off my awesomely shaved chest. I love how the sleeves are short enough to show off how I shave my arms...
"Bob Woody? . . .Here we go again."Everyday I looked forward to enjoying W 6th St during happy hour at JBlacks. Relaxed. Chill. Genuine.
The people were classy, the conversation was genuine and most of all, there was a group that i could relate to and enjoy my off time with.
Then came The Ranch (sigh). Bob Woody, the so- called "Mayor" of 6th ST., and his ego had moved down yonder to the safe haven of W. 6th.
At first it...

"Best Option in Far West for a burger and a beer"I love the Boulevard. I starting going here about a year ago and I am back at least twice a week. I drive from Anderson Mill down to FW for this place. Great food, good drink prices, and great bartenders. This is def a local haunt that I love to visit.
"Don't waste your time"Based on the Citysearch reviews of Boulevard Bar & Grill, my husband ordered a jalapeno cheeseburger along with other items for the rest of my party of 4. Our drinks came quickly and we watched the football game. After 45 minutes we questioned our server about our meal. He said he would check on it. He returned to tell us the kitchen was having trouble with my "veggie" burger. I explained...
