bad store management and upsale
A good experience in 2011 now awful. 2 hour waste of time on a simple procedure. In the 2 hours I was these not one person paid for work. Everyone left dissatisfied.not to mention the phone calls you could hear them having from the waiting room. Seems to be a theme.
The crush washer on my sealed tranny had developed a leak from the service last year. (I suspect they used the original crush washer). Rather than change the washer and add fluid they insisted I had to have full $99 service including filter with only 30k miles since service last year. 75k is recommended by the manufacture. But the experience was far worse than that..
Made an appointment, Vehicle was moved to bay about 30 later, So far so good... 1 hour later I went to look at my truck and all the techs were at lunch. After the 1 tech returned from lunch and 2 hours after my appointment time is when they communicated the "recommended" course of action. They had 5 cars in bays and 1 person doing any work.
Hopfully that location will have new management again soon. Of course they wont give you the contact of the owner and the 800 number for AAMCO just directs you to a local store so it;s no remedy.. Avoid this location if you can
