Great Service!
I live in an apartment next to UT and my complex used Airco to fix our leaking A/C unit. Someone called me in the morning to schedule a "time" (sometime that day-they'd call me 30 minutes before they came).
He called and was at my apartment within about 20 minutes. He was extremely nice and personable. He took the time to explain to me what happens with leaky A/C units in apartment complexes, cleaned BOTH units and checked my filters, too.
I don't know if all their people are like him, but I was very satisfied with the service.

I wasn't responsible for the bill, it went to my complex, but I wanted to let everyone know that the service was great.

talk less to the technician by garfield c. at InsiderPages
I recently got a water softener installed. when i called to get the rates, they told me the first hour would be $80 and then subsequent hours will be $70 . but when the guy came in, he charged $80 for the first 30 minutes, in which all he did was talk. When i called the company back they told me this is their rate. There was a conflict between the people there.

Also if you stay to talk with them, they love to keep talking, but you are gonna end up paying for it. Once they finish the job, it takes them another 15 minutes to write up the invoice. The technician finished up the job in 45 minutes and then started to talk for 15 minutes and on top of that charged me an additional 15 minutes for writing the invoice.

In short they like to squeeze the money out of you. You don't just pay for the work they do, but also for them to write invoice and talk, which they should not charge us for.

I have had some work done by Handyman matters and they tell you everything and then just before they start their job, they tell you the time and just charge you for the actual time of work and their invoice time is 2-3 minutes.

That's how it should be, they should charge you for the labour involved and travel charges too.
