Avoid altogether!

* AUDIO SOLUTIONS-DON'T GO THERE! I had my 2dr truck there to get an alarm system with opt. p/locks installed (& all other std. features). Right away the alarm kept going off at random times (4am) w/ no reason. I looked and saw the WORST install. job EVER. The lack of professionalism is STUNNING. *They routed wire through unprotected, non-grommeted, non-insulated metal areas of my cab to the door panels to hook up the new p/dr locks! (Used MY quality speaker wire which was in the truck, w/o my permission to do it)!!! *They set the shock sensitivity control (SSC) on high & hid the adjustment. They used electrical tape to MOUNT the Control Module (CM) & SSC under my driver's side-which the manual clearly states will interfere w/ proper operation of the alarm! It says to mount these parts w/ screws on the passenger side, & run the antenna cord up high behind the dash for max remote range. They bundled the antenna cord up & taped it to the CM also. They placed the electrical tape so it ripped the CM bar coded sticker that says "void if removed" & had the bar code. You can't see that until AFTER you remove it. *They never installed the HOOD pin switch to keep people from disabling the system from under the hood. This step MUST be done for the STANDARD alarm feature of arming/locking doors automatically after 30 seconds to be activated (if you walk away & forget). *They didn't tell me where the valet switch was (or that there was one) because instead of mounting it properly, they just zip-tied it to a big cable. *NOTE: I downloaded the user & installation manuals from the manufacturer's web site. The shop didn't give them to me because they WANTED me kept ignorant about the capabilities, options, & proper installation of the alarm system. *I'll spend hours doing it RIGHT. I'm logging all problems & fixes & photo-documenting from start-to-finish, hoping for compensation. Don't trust this company! Get references and try to find CERTIFIED installers.
