Good Dr; Bad Front Office Operations
While I think Dr Schaefer is great, I will never make another appt with him. I was an established patient and the last time I made my appt, they told me to come 15 minutes early. Luckily, I got there only 5 minutes early, waited for 20 minutes, and when I asked how much longer it would be, they told me it would be another 45 minutes. I left and called for an appt with another Dermatologist. It's too bad his staff can't figure out how to operate more efficiently.

Very Pleased with Austin Dermcare and Dr. Margaret Hart
I've been seeing Dr. Hart for several years and have nothing but praise for her and her practice. She truly cares about her paitients and has been a "god send" for me. She is "patient oriented" and makes every attempt to accomodate her patients and their needs. Her waiting room is full, and sometimes a little behind schedule, but that tells me there are others that don't mind the wait for quality, proffessional medical care.

Outstanding in every spect
Tremendous. Easy to get an appointment. Several doctors to select from. Highly professional. Took my insurance. Reasonable fees and waiting procedure. I cannot think of one negative from my two visits, one of which involved a procedure to remove a cyst.

Prompt, thorough dermatology care
Austin Dermcare came highly recommended to me by several friends and co-workers. I initially saw Dr. Fox who was very patient and thorough with me as I had acquired quite a "list' of dermatology woes over the years. He froze off several pesky growths on my back and examined my moles. He even treated my adult acne. I later saw his PA, Rachel Miller when he wasn't available and was equally pleased. I will definitely be back and have recommended several of my friends.

#1 in Knowledge of skin issues
Dr. Schafer is knowledgeable, competent, caring, and kind. His knowledge is impressive, having found the underlying issues that several other doctors missed. Great "take home" medical advice and service. I've been seeing him over 9 years, and he never fails to come through with help on my needed dermcare (which at times is challenging). J.Madden

Pros: Dr. Schaefer gets it right the 1st time. No fee for parking right outside office.
Cons: Average wait time, but I find that to be the case everywhere.
