I have been a looking for that perfect marriage of modern-elegance. So one day I stumbled upon Back Home Furniture, Eureka! Not only did I find beautiful things to fit my budget, I also was able get some great ideas from the staff. back Home is a must!

A Unique Find In South Austin!

ME IN A STORE!
i just discovered this store a few weeks ago and was totally impressed with the amount of neat things all collected into one space. I am totally going back when I need a neat birthday gift, or something special to fill the empty nooks in my new house. The staff was friendly but not too pushy or intrusive, which is always important to me when I go into local shops. I would describe the collection as half-traditional half-modern... and definitely isn't too perfectly matched or your typical cookie-cutter furniture store setup. There is a cool mirrored dresser I have my eye on. I hope it is still there when I go back!

fabulous store

this is a wonderful store. I have shopped there for years. I was allowed to showcase some of my purses there when they allowed homebased businesses to introduce their products to new clients. I don't know if they still do that but it was a great way to launch my line. I have bought many of my kid's teacher gifts there and the staff always wraps them for me even if the gift is $15.00. The store is different every visit, even of I go twice in a month. My only wish is that they weren't so far south.

Stuck up employees

The store is beautiful, the items are incredible, but don't let that fool you. . . so are the prices! The staff will not give you the time of day if you don't "look" rich (by the way, "rich" looks like a 36 year old blonde white woman). If you don't have the look they will not even acknowledge that you are in the store, and God help you if you have a question. If you dare ask them anything you will likely be given a short answer and it will be delivered with an attitude as if you're bothering them. The most stuck up and snooty staff in all of Austin!
