Really great store, owner Kappi Bliss, is so easy to love. She really knows how to pick unique and true artists to be represented in her store. I recently went to one of your great jewelry cocktail hours (get on her mailing list for these!! you don't want to miss them!) and I bought an awesome and unique bracelet by local Austin designer Sarah Scott, the bracelet is made with actual Chanel Chains that Sarah got from the old Chanel Warehouses! Is that not so Austin! It is truly a great piece and I love telling the story behind it. Thats just part of what makes this store so cool. Not to mention I love buying local and supporting other Austin small business owners! Kappi, also has some of the most beautiful turquoise and semi precious stone jewelry you will ever see. She also has a great line from Italy, that will really impress you (truly some of the most ornate and detailed metal designed jewelry I have ever seen) I mean take your breath away beautiful. If you want unique and conversational pieces, at affordable - dont break the bank prices. This is the local Austin store you need to check out! I stop by whenever I'm downtown, just to see what new pieces Kappi has brought in!

Stumbled into this hidden treasure while on vacation. Kappie treated us like guests in her home. When she didn't have what I wanted she took my information and contacted the artist directly. In less than 2 weeks I have custom made pieces at a very reasonable price. The place is great and Kappie is a true gem!

Looked all over town for the perfect birthday gift for my girlfriend and found it at Beyond Tradition. Kappie the owner immediately felt like a good friend, and her service alone was enough to make my experience memorable. The earrings were perfect and designed by a local artist which was important to me. My girlfriend loved them and Beyond Tradition is now on my short list of gift destinations.

Wonderful jewelry showroom; lovely pieces by local jewelers, reasonably affordable. Unique pieces of jewelry, most importantly, the owner is very friendly and attentive, it made me want to shop there. She showed me several pieces, even though I was hesitant to make an impulsive decision on a bracelet, she assured me that I could come back any time, and to think about the item, rare with many Austin boutiques. I did buy a beautfiul pearl and gold bracelet for a friend, who absolutely loved it!!! I will definitely go back for future jewelry purchases.

Kappie's wonderful shop on 2nd street has one of the most eclectic collections of jewelry I have found in Austin. Priced to fit in every budget too! She knows her artists first hand, and can chat up a storm about the details of each collection. She has trunk shows at least monthly, often more frequently, with designers on site to meet and greet. I highly recommend the shop if you are seeking unique pieces for yourself or someone special!
