The food is worth the wait
Bouldin Creek is the most amazing vegetarian restaurant in Austin. And I think that's what confuses people about the "speed" of the service-- Bouldin is built like a coffeehouse, but it's really not. It's a restaurant that serves coffee (and beer and wine...). When it's busy, yeah, you wait a while to get your food, but the wait isn't any longer than Magnolia's when they're busy. Regardless, the menu is fantastic and the food is great. The veggie-rizo tacos can't be beat... sub tofu for egg and you've got heaven. I've had everything on the menu at least once and it's all amazing.
