I asked about replacing the catalytic converter on my '99 RX 300 Lexus (240K miles), and the manager cautioned that it would be over $1000 to get the service done, and that I might want to go to the dealer to get the dealer parts, etc. I really appreciated his honesty, and I'll definitely be coming back to Brake Specialists with my Lexus and our other car, a Nissan.

I only brought my car for State Inspection. They are nice on last couple of years. However, is really horrible today and I won't go again anymore. They mess up my name inside their computer between my Last name and First name. I have no idea what happen, I visited them for every single year, I really cannot remember how many time either. It never have problem when they were asked my Last name. Today, the guy is very impolite, then he found out their computer mess up my last name and fist name, and he asked me "Next time switch your name when we asked". I talked to him why don't you changed your computer, then He say "OK, I do it now, you are so bossy". It really funny when I heard that. Then he took 1 hr for do the inspection, but they are not busy, I know he just play game and do this to me???!!! Finally, I know why they don't have business, that is really bad services I never had!! It didn't show up his name in my receipt, but it does show the ...

I've used various Brake Specialist locations for the last 7 or 8 years and always had a good experience. Recently I had my daughter's 94 Sentra worked on at the 8405 Research location. They took care of the brakes, a clutch throw out bearing and a valve seal gasket. When I noticed blue clouds of smoke billowing out the next day I took it back. The quickly fixed something else and got her back on the road with no charge and no more smoke!
