HOW LONG CAN YOU TAKE , HOW MUCH CAN YOU CHARGE
THEY PICKED UP THE CAR FOR A " FREE " QUOTE ON THE TRANSMISSION 10 DAYS LATER THEY QUOTED $ 4800 TO REPAIR , WE ONLY PAID $ 5100 FOR THE CAR . TOLD THEM THAT WE WOULD PICK UP THE CAR , AND THEY THEN SAID HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO PAY, WE STATED THAT $ 2800 WOULD BE FAIR ,WE PAID THEM $ 1200. CASH IN ADVANCE , SO THEY SAID OK. ONE MONTH LATER AND 30 PROMISES THEY SAID THAT THE CASE WAS CRACKED, AND NEEDED A SHAFT THAT THEY ORDERED WITHOUT EVEN CALLING US .OH , BY THE WAY THE PRICE WAS NOW $ 3400. WE STATED THAT WE WOULD HAVE ANOTHER SHOP PICK UP THE CAR , THEY DELAYED US. TEN DAYS LATER THEY CALLED US BACK AND SAID THAT THEY WOULD WELD THE CASE AND GET A MACHINE SHOP TO BUILD A SHAFT , SHOULD BE DONE IN A WEEK , AND THAT THE PRICE WOULD BE $ 3200. TWO WEEKS LATER THE " OWNER " KEN NOW SAYS THAT WE HAVE BEEN LIED TO BY DAMON , AND THAT HE HAS BEEN FIRED IT HAS NOW BEEN 10 WEEKS NO CAR IN SIGHT , AND THE OWNER , KEN HAS SAID THAT THE BILL WILL BE HIGHER THAN $ 3200 , AND HAS NO IDEA WHEN , I WILL SAVE MY OPINIONS !

STAY AWAY - Cons and Car Theives
Short version, I fell victim to the "free tow and diagnostic. After waiting 1.5 weeks just to find out what was wrong with the truck. I get quoted 1695 for a rebuild but told that the $395.00 I paid to have it dropped and looked out was taken out of that price. Allen then tells me it will be ready in 2 days. A week goes by, I call, Allen says he'll call me back. He calls back, tells me now it is going to be $2400 or $2100.... I ask what happened to $1695 and why is it not ready yet, it's now been 2 weeks... After about 15 more calls to Allen, Allen says he's going to just charge $996 total, so the $395 I already paid will be deducted.

Another week goes by, of course the vehicle isn't ready and I go in to see what is going on. Wayne Ray meets me, he quickly tells me the vehicle is ready and it's $1695 in addition to the $395 I already paid. I asked to see the invoice or build sheet, he says he doesn't know where it is. I asked what was done to the vehicle, he says he doesn't know... So how do you know the cost, but not what work was done? He finally says he'll call me back after talking to Allen over the weekend.

Week 3, I get a call at 9:30a, Wayne says Allen had a heart attack and he needs more time and will call me later. Having had enough of this, I go into the shop. Same story, Wayne gets hostile after I tell him I am not interested in a warranty. I HAD TO CALL THE COPS to get him to let me pay a ridiculous amount and then leave with my vehicle. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General. I still have no idea what was done to the vehicle.

Heads up Wayne Ray ran "Mr Transmission" in Houston, it went out of business and had 14 complaints with the BBB in under two years, which all the shop was open. STAY AWAY and report these thieves to the BBB and Attorney General if you have been had like the rest of us.

The company gets your money up front, just so they can lie to you after . They're going to tell you need something else that you didn't put your car in there for. we need help because the owner know that the clients will only solve this problem in civil court.

Dishonest and Shady
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!! IF IT COULD BE RATED A ZERO STAR THEY WOULD DESERVE IT.

They are dishonest and will screw you around.
I took my car in for repairs 6 weeks ago. They said it would be ready in about 3 days. My first mistake was to pay the bill up front. Once they had their money, they had no motivation to get my car fixed. I have been put off and put off with so many different stories and ready times my head is spinning. Finally, they couldn't fix the car in their shop and they sent it to the dealership (without my authorization). When I asked if I would be charged for this, they said there would be no additional charges to me. For days, they have been telling me that the dealership has not completed the repairs on my vehicle, but when I called the dealership directly, they said my car has been ready for days -- the repair shop just needs to pay for it and pick it up. The dealership even said the repair shop could even pay via phone if necessary. I went to the repair shop this morning and Jim Brooks (after initially trying to tell me once again that the dealership had't yet completed the repairs and then changed the story after I told him I had called myself) said they would not be able to go pick up my car because "management" was not in and they couldn't pay for it. When I asked to speak to "management" on the phone, Jim refused to let me speak to the manager (even though the manager had been calling in while I was there). Jim even refused to give me the contact information to the owner of the shop. This leaves me with no recourse. Now to get my car back, he says I must go pay the dealership and pick up the car myself.

While I was there another customer came in whose car had been there a month also... and was also at a dealership getting fixed.

Grand theft auto
I was told by mike it would be $2100. Damien calls me the next day and says $1500. Ken calls me the day after that and says $2900. We agreed on $2500.l and it would be done by the end of the week. 2 weeks pass and no truck. ken says they got the wrong torgue converter and had to send mine to Connecticut to be rebuilt because they can't find one for my 2005 ford explorer. Hmmm. I have a rare car. 2 more weeks later and says still no torque converter. I told him I'm picking up my truck, as is, and want my money back. He said no and hung up on me. GRAND THEFT AUTO. It's been 4 weeks and still no truck.
