One of top 2 or 3 in Austin area

Though there is one other place we just slightly prefer over DDO, when we can't get our Lab into there for kenneling, DDO is immediately the place we call.

In fact, if we can't get a spot at one of these two places, we simply change our plans until we can. DDO is that good. The people there invariably return a very happy and well exercised dog... and those who know, know Labs MUST have lots of exercise to be happy!

The low lit and quiet air conditioned kennels with music are great too, especially when it's triple digits outside!

We've tried 7 different kennels in the Austin area, and some are downright shameful in their treatment of dogs, a couple them returning our dog dehydrated, cowered and acting as though he'd been beaten... he's normally very upbeat and a bit of a social butterfly, getting along with every person and every dog, so when a great experience like DDO comes along, we want to ditto all the other positive feedback here on their operation.

DDO shows how the right people make all the difference!!

Pros: Excellent, reward driven discipline and training, relaxful kennels

Cons: Play pens are a bit small for larger dogs to really run and stretch their legs. That's about the only knock we have against DDO.

The Only Place For My Dogs

This is the only place I trust with my dogs. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcomes us by name everytime we enter the office. They go out of their way to provide the utmost in care and comfort for my dogs and they provide superior customer service. Doggy Day Out really knows how to treat dogs and their owners.

Wonderful Experience

I had a wonderful experience at Doggy Day Out. My dog is was very submissive before I started bringing her there. They have worked with her using positive methods and the transformation is just incredible. She is almost like a different dog. The staff is so friendly and informative. I even forgot to make reservations one weekend, thought I had, showed up and they took me right away. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the area. They really love dogs!

Our family loves Doggy Day Out

Doggie Day Out has been wonderful to my dogs and my family. The staff is WONDERFUL! I had a dog that required medication and special care and they made sure he was lovingly cared for. They are genuinely excited when they see my dogs and my dogs are just as excited to see them. I know when I leave my dogs with the people at Doggy Day Out, they will have fun in a safe, loving environment. My dogs have stayed at other kennels in Austin and in other cities, and I now that I've found Doggy Day Out, I'd never let them stay anywhere else.

Doggy Day Out

I send my dog to Doggy Day Out for daycare, bathing, boarding. The staff & owner of DDO are knowledgable & provide excellent customer service. They are so loving with my pet & excited when she arrives. They know which dogs she enjoys playing with, & everything about her personality. They send me email updates to let me know that she is playing well & having a good day. There are other doggy daycares in my area, but I highly recommend this one for the personal attention. You can't beat the price either! Usually when dogs are boarded they are only let out to use the bathroom, but at DDO I get the boarding service along with the day care service b/c the boarding dogs play all day with the daycare dogs. My dog gets 6-8 hours of play time when she is boarded at DDO.
