watch out for the owner!!
i've been here a couple times for lunch. the food is flavorful and generally a good bargain, especially the panini. red peppers, cream sauces, olives, basil, and chicken all get heavy rotation. it's a great place to stop by and have a big lunch for under $15. the lasagnas and cannelloni are really gooey and cheesy, the salads are fresh (the insalate milano with roasted eggplant, mmm) and not over-dressed. pizza can be a little undersalted or underdone, but just ask for it well-done and it becomes very good. toppings are always generous. the albanese pizza with smoked sausage and feta is five-star. anyway, watch out for the owner! if you're the only person in there and he's behind the counter, sometimes he comes out and will just TALK YOU TO DEATH. he will STAND at your table and just yammer on. i don't know about you, but there's nothing i hate more than being interrupted while i'm eating, especially when the uninvited conversation is so boring. it's ...
