Avoid these guys if you want a good experience
I was a first time home-buyer in Austin and I went to "Mr. Dreamhome" on a vague recommendation from a friend. The only time in the whole process that I felt I had adequate service was during the initial interview and at the closing. About halfway through the process Mike, the owner, said he didn't really have time to go with me to show properties and that another one of his agents was going to take me. Well, this so-called "agent" was incredibly unknowledgeable throughout the whole process and kept telling me to call Mike about with questions, or to set-up appointments and Mike kept referring me back to the other agent. The other agent never followed through with any requests for further information, such as whether a place allowed pets or whether it was in a flood plain, and would eventually give me a literally made-up answer, such as "well, it says unknown, so it probably is..." when every listing I ever saw said unknown! It was just a terrible process all the way through, right up to closing, when they underestimated my closing costs for me by $3000 and I didn't find out until a couple of days before closing!
