Finish Line Car Wash Experience
I have taken several cars to Finish Line for their expert
care. Everyone treats me with a friendly smile and professional service.

A few weeks ago, I took a friend of mines mini- van to Finish Line for detailing. She was amazed at what a professional job they provided. She told that she didn't recognize her clean/waxed van when they were done.

I also, took another very close friends car to Finish Line to have her car detailed. She was so pleased with the excellent job they provided, that she is recommending them to all her friends.

Finally, Finish Line strives to be the best in Austin, Texas.

I definitely recommend everyone should take their vehicle to Finish Line to experience their professional and friendly service.

Sincerely,

Dexter Jones

Follow the waving guy
I took my car which had been neglected in the California sun for ten years and the Finish Line did an amazing job. They cleaned the engine compartment, interior, exterior, and de-fogged my lights for about 250 dollars. Expensive, but very much worth it.

Finished with this Car Wash...
I'm not that picky when it comes to the overall cleaning of a car. I'm not going to pay $20 and expect a $120 job. This place does work in the opposite manner...$120 job for a $20 job. It's way over priced and the work is terrible. You could drive your car through a car wash at one of those stations and get a better job. I mentioned it to my brother awhile back and he didn't hear where I went. A few weeks later he came in complaining that he wasted his money at this very car wash.

I guess, they think they can charge the prices due to the area and they're right. It's worked so far. I've tried all the car washes in Austin. H2O on Barton does great work and they're dirt cheap for a wash. Misters Car Wash is also great with the work and price but, they need a central/south location. All people in West Austin; drive the extra miles to get your moneys worth. Getting your car washed is one of life's little pleasures and with our economic climate, don't waste your money.

Not recommended for detailing
I took my car to get the $129 detail. They sold me on an upgrade for $50 to do a buffing to get rid of scratches and dings. It was 9am, only about 3-4 cars were there, they told me it would be 2-3 hours and they would call when it's ready. So my husband and I left, but tried to stay around the area for that 2-3 hours. We called at noon, not ready yet. 1pm came, no phone call. 2pm came, no phone call. So we showed up around 3:15 and it still wasn't done! 6.25 HOURS LATER!!! And we still had not received a phone call. We asked to talk to someone so they brought up the detail mgr (John). He didn't even apologize, he just made excuse after excuse. Our main gripe wasn't the time, but rather the fact that nobody called to say "sorry, we told you 2-3 hours but it's going to be longer". So, we had to wait about 45 minutes more - now it's been a total of 7 hours. We asked to talk to the overall manager (Mike) and he was very nice. He understood our position, apologized and said someone should have called. He was the one positive aspect of the experience. He offered us $50 off which was nice.

We went out there to inspect it and found the following hadn't even been done: behind the rear headrests there were insects, dirt, etc; behind the seats had grass that hadn't been vacuumed; wheels were dirty where it looked like they "attempted" to clean them but with a greasy rag; there were several scratches that they couldn't get out; there was still dirt on the roof of the car that we could just wipe off with our hands that they should have cleaned in the so called "hand wash and wax"; insides of the doors were still dirty and I had to clean with a rag myself when I got home. They did shampoo the seats well, a positive. We were finally able to leave there at 4:30, so the total experience took 7.5 hours!

Overall, I would not recommend this place. For $169 I would expect an expert detailing job. I merely got a car wash and shampoo interior.

Avoid - There are better places in town
I went there today and paid $54.95 for their Express Detail package that the manager assured includes vacuming and thorough cleaning of the interior of my Honda SUV. All they did was wipe the doors. They did not even vacum the back of my SUV. The seats were not vacumed and neither was dash cleaned. After I complained, they made a perfunctory effort to clean the car.

This place is waste of money. Go somewhere else.
