Good service
I had to make an emergency move a few months back, and Two Sisters Moving was able to fit me in that weekend despite the short notice. They were very nice and very careful with everything. The price was what they quoted to me, and I had no reason to complain. I will be moving again in two weeks and will be using them again.

Very Happy
I used this company in March and was very satisfied with the price and services. The movers where very careful with my furniture and nothing was damaged. I had a few extra items and the price went up by 50 dollars, which I think was fair.I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Generally reputable company
I arranged for a move from a townhouse to a different apartment in the same complex for Saturday March 22nd. Mike, the man I spoke with on the phone, was friendly and gave me a reasonable quote within a few hours of my initial phone call. I called other companies but decided to give this one a try because Mike seemed the most trustworthy and helpful. Overall Two Sisters did a good job for me. The two men showed up on time Saturday morning within the 30 minute "window" and were as courteous as Mike. They were pulling a trailer behind a Ford pickup which I didn't really care for, I would prefer to see a moving company use a bobtail or similar utility truck but that's a minor complaint. The guys had me sign some documents after reviewing the items to be moved with me and then went about their business. They carried some extra floor lamps but mysteriously left behind the table lamps that were on the end tables in my living room. They were not on the list (forgot to tell Mike) so fair enough but why carry the floor lamps but not the table lamps? Confusing. Anyway they delivered everything ok to the new apartment, used ample padding and didn't scratch anything. The guys never complained about anything including their job which I found refreshing based on my experience with M&M back in 2006 (don't get me started on that fiasco, can't recommend them). I was so preoccupied with coordinating the move that I forgot to tip them which I regretted later. I did give them some unwanted kitchen materials but that's not quite the same thing. They did a good job and deserved a tip. My only real complaint is with this "style" of moving: getting a quote based on what you will have the company move from you. I don't think it works for me any longer especially considering this table lamp example. Next time I think I'll go with Two Guys Moving who charge by the hour and don't care what they move. I didn't use them this time only because they couldn't fit in my timeframe.

Pros: Friendly, reliable, courteous, careful, professional
Cons: Style of moving seems antiquated somehow, and expensive to boot

Safe-reliable-friendly...
These guys were an answer to my prayers! When I moved to Austin, from out of STATE, I'd researched movers, and they seemed to be the best overall choice- (price, insurance, plus they have been around for a WHILE)
They were super professional, no foul language/inappropriate behavior (as has happened in the past)-yuk!
Nothing broke, I was moved in and they were done in a reasonable amount of time...just awesome! I have used them three more times since then, 1 time for my ofc., and 2 times for my home-I reccommended them to co-workers and friends, they were just as pleased. I can't believe noone has rated them yet.
Definitely worth the money I paid!

Good Moving Crew/ Bad Price & Customer Srevice
Two Sisters has two sides. The 3-man crew that moved us was courteous and did a good job moving our possessions. They broke one light fixture and knocked off the wood slat on one piece of furniture, but everything else made it in excellent condition. The big surprise came when we were presented with an invoice. It was almost twice the amount we had been quoted! We had some extra boxes that should have added another $25, but not an additional $400! The manager/ estimator was very uncooperative when we tried to resolve the issue and could never satisfactorily explain the increase. In fact, he fabricated some story that tried to lay the blame on us. There are lots of good moving companies in Austin. Steer clear of this one.
