As a first-time mother, I read everything I could get my hands on -- online product reviews, books, articles, Consumer Reports, etc. to educate myself on the products that I would need for my new baby. Despite all of my research, I learned even MORE when I visited USA Baby & Childspace.

I had shopped around (online and at several other baby stores in Austin) for the products that I was interested in. I was delighted to find USA Baby. It quickly became a trusted source for my baby needs.

The manager, Chuck, is extremely knowledgable about all baby products -- not only those products that he carries in his store (which is quite a lot!), but also those products that he may not. He helped me to determine what was important for my needs, lifestyle, and budget. He is ALWAYS willing to work with me and his level of customer service, along with his staff, is unsurpassed.

All of the products that I purchased are fantastic, and have exceeded my expectations. I bought my baby's Muniere crib with matching dresser, hutch, and armoire, Dutalier rocking chair and nursing stool, Combi play yard, Peg Perego infant car seat with 2 car seat bases, Britax convertible car seat, Peg Perego stroller, bouncer, mattress, bedding, gates, childproofing items, toys, and lots of additional items.

I was also able to special-order several items (rocking chair, nursing stool, stroller, and infant car seat) with custom fabric. You can't do at the big chain stores! The ability to do this really enriched my buying experience. USA Baby's prices are competitive, and I felt very comfortable buying so many items from one store. The quality of all the products that I purchased is top-notch! I cannot recommend this store highly enough!! :)

My wife and I visited several different baby stores (including different locations of Babies R Us) as we prepared for the birth of our daughter. We ended up returning to USA Baby for many visits because of the great customer service we received. Chuck, the manager, is extremely knowledgeable about baby products as he's been in the business of selling them for many years (unlike the teenage sales associates that you may find at some other stores). Chuck truly has the customer's best interests at heart. On several occasions he listened to our needs and guided us toward products that would best meet them at the price that we wanted to pay. Additionally, his entire staff has always greeted us with smiles, and they are willing to assist us and other customers whenever we needed help. We ended up purchasing our daughter's bedroom furniture, stroller, pack and play, carseat, and many other items from USA Baby, and we will return there for future purchases. I highly recommend USA Baby for their great products and superior customer service.

love USA baby, it’s not just for babies, I bought a full size Spring Air mattress from them, not only was it the cheapest in town, but was seriously informed about the mattress and given a understanding about the quality of the manufacture. This is one place that knows about product and is willing to teach us, as customers understand the product.

My wife & I like to think we are educated shoppers. We spent lots of time reshearching on line. When we went to this store and talked to the well informed sales staff it was simply amazing how much we didn't know! The staff was friendly & very helpful. They exposed us both to products and information that was invaluable to us.
We ultimately had to order our furniture that would take 3 mos to come in. Our sales person Donna was so helpful in making suggestions that we now have a bassinet to use until our furniture comes in. We feel a great sense of relief that we placed our order and will receive great advice any time we call the store.
This is hard for me to say because I really don't like to shop, but I had a great time! We look forward to their help when it comes time for us to buy a stroller and car seat.

Great selection and quality baby items, but the staff is rude and the prices are high. They don't even look up from the counter when you walk in the store to say "Welcome" or "hello". Then when you pay, I had to say "thank you" to get a "thank you" out of them. I was raised in a family who had two businesses....a clothing store and a small pharmacy. One run by my mother and the other by my father. I was trained to treat your customers in a friendly manner, even when I wasn't have a good day. My parents reminded me often that those wonderful people who did business with us kept me fed and clothed.

To me, when you go to any business, especially a mom and pop store, I expect to get better service than a "big box" store. I feel like Baby's R Us cared about me more when I went in there, than the rude staff at USA Baby. Donna and the man behind the counter were both very rude to me and my husband. We did buy our crib, a changing table, a dresser, a mattress, and the baby bedding there (total of $1,500), but I will not return there after the treatment I have received in many ways and on various days (like when we ordered, when we came back to pick up the ordered items, etc.) I just can't handle being treated the way I was.....rudely, no eye contact, and really not much assistance except when I wanted to write up my order.

I will find other places to shop for my baby boy, and future children. Not here.
