"The kind of store you want to visit while pregnant :)"The owner and sales associate were very very friendly, offering me water and a seat in a super comfy mommy glider as I browsed. The store has a great art selection for kids rooms, and quite a large assortment of products for such a small space. It has a cozy feel which makes it easy to imagine what it would feel like in your own home. I even wanted to buy their display pieces.

"Great quality, but RUDE staff and HIGH prices"Great selection and quality baby items, but the staff is rude and the prices are high. "Custom Media Shelves by Halden V. at InsiderPages "This store is still there! I was in this store when I was going to UT. Now I'm back in Austin 10yrs later and the store is still there, and pretty much the same!
They have quality shaker style bookcases and cabinets made from pine, and they can custom build stuff too.

"Terrible service"I was shocked at how poor the service at Picket Fences was; I am 5 months pregnant and was so excited to select a nursery; the staff was rude and didn't even greet me, never mind helping me to select anything. Needless to say, they didn't and won't get our business. Parking was terrible too.
