I told him that my insurance company would only cover part of the cost and he was kind enough to call my insurance company to convince them to cover more of the cost. Joe is a really nice guy. I had a second estimate from another company and it was much higher $$....

"Would NOT recommend Steve Gillen Builder"Regrettably, I hired this company to remodel kitchen and several other areas of my house. Saw the spanish speaking subs much, much more often than Steve. Work was VERY POORLY done. I did call and talk to two references he gave me before hiring him and they (whether legit or not, I don't know) said he did good work! If you want even reasonable quality and workmanship, please keep looking...

"Worst Builder Around"The models look great, but don't expect any customer service from Wilshire. They told me 45 days to finish my house and 4 months later - still waiting. Also, don't pay for upgrades, because they charge you for them, but somehow forget to put them in your house and then charge you anyway. Don't do anything with these guys unless you have a great lawyer and a huge amount of cash to blow for...
