"Best sushi in Austin!"I absolutely LOVE this place! They have the best super white tuna and miso soup I have ever had and I have tried a lot of different sushi places, not just in Austin. This is a great place for dinner, and they also have great lunch specials. I would also recommend trying their Passioberry Duo, it is just to die for! This place can be a little pricey, but it is definitely worth it!

"Dont make reservations there!"If you have a large party Mikado will not accommodate you. We tried to book a party of 15 three days in advanced and they initially agreed but then kept calling us trying to get us to change our time. They would go back and forth with the reservation time and they not very accommodating. There are too many other restaurants in Austin that appreciate our business and we are very disappointed...

"Not as good as expected"I expected great... I got Whataburger. Bun was oldish and fell apart. French Fries and onion rings, and shakes are good. The vegetarian burger option is terrible! "dissapointment..."the food selection was incredibly small, but definitely not as smaill as the size of their dishes. A $7 appetizer is literally two bite sizes. I spent well over $45 on my dinner alone and still left feeling quite unsatisfied. However, wonderful decor and atmosphere...i just wished they had put some thought into their tiny psuedo-exotic dishes.

"Horrible Service"Granted....it was New Year's Day and the restaurant was quite busy. Being in the service industry myself, I usually do not complain about slow, or even, bad service. A salad was served with no utensils and had to be eaten by hand. Drinks were slow to be filled. Dinner was delivered to a five top, again with no silverware.
