"THE GREATEST SOULFOOD AROUND..."AH THE CATFISH CO. THIS PLACE IS ON POINT WITH SERVICE AND THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTLEY FABULOUS, THE GUMBO IS HEARTY AND FULL OF FLAVOR AND PLUMP CRAWFISH. THE FRIED CATFISH AND SHRIMP JUST MELT IN YOUR MOUTH WITH EVERY BITE, THE ATMOSPHERE IS PLEASENT AND PEACEFUL, I DO RECCOMEND THIS PLACE FOR A GREAT MEAL REASONABLE IN PRICE AND GREAT CLIENT SERVICE.

"Disappointed"After hearing great things we tried it last night. Fried green tomatoes were really good. Gumbo was very good. Fried seafood was not so good. Oysters not cook and mushy. I think the catfish is pre-breaded out of the freezer. Not what we expected. I tink we will stick with Pacific Star at Anderson Mill & 183.

"Worst Service EVER"They took forever to seat us even though they weren't busy. Then our server took forever to greet us and take our order. After sitting on the half-empty patio for 20 minutes without even being given chips or water, we walked out. Prior to this, I ate there with 3 friends a long time ago. Our waitress was rude to us and some kind of moisture on the wall was dripping on my friend. Next...

"Not Satisfied"I went to dine at the Catfish Parlour today with 2 friends. We sat and dined in and spent about $60.00, then I ordered the 1 lb of catfish to take home to my daughter and friend. I asked for tartar sauce and they told me I had to pay .60 for each pack of tartar sauce. I spent another $12.00 on the fish. I had to go home and tell them there was no tartar sauce for the fish. "Best Fish in Austin"I happened in to McCormick & Schmick's one afternoon with my family and was SHOCKED. The Service was upscale, the atmosphere was incredible, and the food was TERRIFIC. i had a white fish that was tender and moist. Overall i highly recommend dining here.

"YAWN"M&S's is like a very bad cliche': all dressed up and no where to go. Bland, unimaginative food + dismal, unpolished service + beautiful interior space=Big Corporate Chain Restaurant. DO NOT GO!!!
