This is my favorite auto mechanic. Dan Mize knows what he's doing on gas or diesel engines - and he's honest. Two things that are sometimes tough to find. They have worked on at least three of my vehicles over the years. One a Volvo, another a Ford F350 and the third was a Mercury Villager van.

Fair and Reasonable.

I've used them twice for my older car. Once to replace exhaust manifold and recently to replace a leading gas tank. They were very responive when I brought my car in with gas dripping from the tank. They gave me a quote with a used gas tank and stuck to it. The prices seem fair for the customer and the business.

These guys are great!

Jimmy at Joe Angell Automotive is the best. After hitting a pipe, my car was a mess underneath!!! $4,000 worth of damage. The guys at Joe Angell's not only did the repairs but they also drove my car to the body shop in Del Valle and drove it back to Austin for me without a service charge!! I feel that they are truly the "Good Guys". I recommend them 100%!

Great Service for Toyota, Lexus, and Scion

I took my car in for an oil change and wiper blade replacement. They fit me right in and were very professional. During my oil change they mentioned that I could use a new air filter and wiper blades. I said go ahead and then was worried that it would be overpriced. To my surprise, it was VERY reasonable and I did need new wipers! I will be back to this Brake Specialists Plus or any other...

Low key, honest general auto repairs

A co-worker recommended this place and we were not disappointed. The owner is low key, doesn't try to scare you into repairs you don't need or prey on your ignorance.
