"I love Brake Specialists!"I went to another car place, got an estimate I thought was high, then went to Lamar Brake Specialist location. They diagnosed same problem, but had a much less expensive solution! saved me a few hundred bucks. I have also had oil changes there, and they fixed a timing chain for me as well. "DONT' GO HERE IF YOU'RE FEMALE"I went in to get my state inspection done on my 2006 VW today, and after sitting in the waiting room forever (which is to be expected, just annoying) they call me up to the desk to tell me they can't pass my car b/c my wipers don't work. "Fair and Reasonable."I've used them twice for my older car. Once to replace exhaust manifold and recently to replace a leading gas tank. They were very responive when I brought my car in with gas dripping from the tank. They gave me a quote with a used gas tank and stuck to it. The prices seem fair for the customer and the business.

"fast and reasonable"I took my car in for an oil change and wiper blade replacement. They fit me right in and were very professional. During my oil change they mentioned that I could use a new air filter and wiper blades. I said go ahead and then was worried that it would be overpriced.
