"Call a local guy instead"Fox told us that we needed to replace our A/C four years ago, but I decided to get a second opinion so I called an A/C guy that is independant (Mr.Cool). He told us our unit was perfectly fine and that he could easily fix it. He did, and we are happy four years later. I wouldn't trust Fox. They are too expensive and try to get more money out of you. The local guys are much better.

"Crooks."These guys sent a guy out who demanded we pay him directly for the parts. Then, he took our money and skipped town. When we complained to the company, they told us it was our fault and that they plan to do absolutely nothing about it. At best, this is a terrible business. At worst, criminals. Stay away.

"DOORS ARE LOCKED!"Based on favorable reviews I drove to A&A Appliance etc on Burnet Road only to find the store empty, doors locked, and only a note on the door to the mailman to not deliver mail but to return to sender! No other info!! Hard to believe that a favorite among Austinites would just lock up and disappear.. alas, another victim of this terrible economy?
