"If you like veggie food this is pretty good"Dive-like atmosphere but pretty good food. I'm really writing this primarily to test out Facebook Connect...
"w/ so much good veg. food, don't bother"with so many great vegetarian places in town, don't bother with this one. when i moved into town, i kept hearing how great this place is -- and so close to my new home. first: it's quite crowded, and it takes forever to get a table. there's no convenient place to wait, either. i've gone several times, different times of day, ordering vastly different meals. each time i've had the same...

"You have to get a margarita"I am at BAby A's just about every Friday. The margaritas have got to be the best in the state. They are so good and pack a mean kick The purple is great but it will knock you out. The baby changa is my favorite as far as food goes. I would recommend it with cheese sauce instead of the avacado sauce. It comes with real fajita chicken meat in it. It's sooooo good.
"Never Again!!!"After our LARGE party gleaned a table in the very crowded bar area, the pager goes off. We get to the front and the host explains, "I paged you accidentally." Our group (drinks in hand) had already lost our bar table! I ask why he didn't tell us of the mistake before we gave up our table. He replied "the restaurant's too big" to find us - a party of TEN PEOPLE!!! I asked that we get moved up...

"Austin's best pizza"Best pizza in Austin! Thin and crispy. Try the Margaretha fantastic. Great past dishes too.
"Great Food, Horrible Management, Bad Atmosphere!"We've gone to the Brick Oven by the Arboretum several times and have finally written them off. Its not that the service is bad, but there is just a real tension in the air from the hostesses all the way down to the servers. We're guessing that its caused mostly by uptight management, but whatever it is, it really makes the experience uncomfortable and downright awkward. On our last trip, we...

"This restaurant has the most delicious Gluten Free pasta"This restaurant has the most delicious Gluten Free pasta dishes. Their Gluten Free Pizza options are also wonderful. It is reassuring to go to a restaurant with Gluten Free options and enjoy the food as much.
I highly recommend it.
"What a disappointment. The pizza was soggy and undercooked in"What a disappointment. The pizza was soggy and undercooked in the middle. Service was also awful. Waitress was unpolite overall and service was slow.

"Better than Red River location"Have been to south location as well as Red River. This location offers more choices regarding breads and the salads are better at this location. This location was the first in which I tried the pimento cheese. It is consistently good at this location, the Red River one varies at times. The fruit salad is nice at both locations, but the green salad is better at this location. There are...
"Dirty & Overpriced"Rude staff, dirty environment, overpriced, not worth your time or energy. For a tasty bakery try Upper Crust instead.

"The strongest Margaritas in town! by Robert M. at InsiderPages "Man I miss living off of Riverside Drive.
When I lived in my apartment, Baby A's was just a few blocks away from me and across the street from my best firend's condo.
Walking is good after a few of their world-class margaritas. The fruit ones are great (and they limit you to only 3), but the Purple ones will bite you in the butt (you can get only 2).
The food is pretty good too, but...
"dumb waiter..."The first and last time I ate at this location my husband and I were starving and willing to try a new place. Well we waitied for our server for about 10 minutes when he finally did show he looked a little dazed (maybe stoned) but he took our order right away. I finally got my food 30 minutes later but the server forgot to place my husbands order. After we informed him of this he came back...

"Save your money..."If you want decent, fresh food served by greasy, long-haired, stretched-lobed individuals with attitude problems, save yourself about 50 percent and head down the street to Thundercloud's. The food here is so-so for the most part, although stay away from the empanadas, they are incredibly dry and bland. If you feel like torturing yourself with Food! Food!'s slow and rude service, you should...

"An Austin Favorite"This is the place to go for healthy, unprocessed food. Their turkey sandwich on country wheat bread is fabulous as is the chicken tortilla soup (served weekends). The coconut cupcakes are unbelievable! Gooey meringue frosting and rich cake with a smidge of custard filling. Definitely good.
"Falls Short Of Average Rating "WalkingOne comes to expect that walking into a bakery your senses are overwhelmed with the sights and smells of fresh baked goods. Texas French Bread fails to meet this expectation. When I asked the man behind the counter if this bread was baked today he assured me it was. But upon surveying their poorly stocked racks it appeared otherwise. The bread appeared to have a dull lifeless...

"Disappointed after reading other reviews"The restaruant left a lot to be desired after reading some of the other posts. I have to wonder how it could possible have rated so well after eating there. It was merely average and strictly, well... okay.

"I love this pizza. By far one of the best crusts in Austin for"I love this pizza. By far one of the best crusts in Austin for thin crust lovers. They have a decent wine selection at good prices. The chicken dishes and salads are also very fine. They are very accomodating to special food needs as my friend cannot eat wheat products and they can convert most sandwich or other dishes into a non-wheat/pasta serving.
"Average to poor"The food is very average and the kitchen is often careless - for example, I am vegetarian and in one case I verified and ordered a vegetarian pasta in a cream sauce. When it was brought to the table, it had chunks of chicken in the sauce. Another time, a supposed plain tomato sauce had some meat in in - probably from using the same ladle for several sauces. In having business luncheons...
