"This hotel is centrally located north..."of downtown Austin with easy access to freeways and The hotel is clean and the staff very courteous. The Sunday breakfast was excellent and well attended by the staff. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. ...
"Food."This hotel treated us like second class citizens because we used it. She wouldn¿t change our room and it had construction going on until 6:30 pm. I couldn¿t believe their attitude. ...

"The Rodeway Inn is an Excellent Motel in an Unbeatable Location"This recently fully renovated motel has updated furnuture and fixtures, including all new flat screen TV, minifridge, microwave, and the most comfortable beds that you will find in any hotel/motel at any price. The Adjacent restaurant, Taqueria Los Jaliscienses, is a hidden gem, very popular with the residents of the surrounding community. I will always stay here at the Rodeway Inn on my trips...
"This place is GREAT for hookers, drug addicts, bums"Upon arriving, 01DEC09, I couldn't believe the military would stoop this low to have US military personnel accomodate THIS location. The lobby is small and cramped, the parking lot was contaminate with litter. Entering the hotel room, is stunk like a meth-lab, the bathroom door was every bit shattered in half only hanging by it's hinges. A CRACK bag was left outside the front door of my room....

"close to I-35"We were extremely dissatisfied that the hotel was unable to put us in a non-smoking room. They room wreaked of cigarette smoke. Had we known it would be that way, we would have booked a hotel direct from someone else. ...

" The appetizers are pretty tastey. "Try the Shaqs BBQ Shrimp. They have a lot of alumni clubs watching games there. They have a great crew of bartenders. Lot's of drink specials every night. Whiskey Wednesdays are my favorite night because they have $3.50 Jack, Crowns, & Jamesons. Speaking of Jamesons on St. Patty's Day they're serving up $3.00 Irish Car Bombs. They recently starting picking up UFC. They need more fans for the...
"Don't understand the good reviews, not good at all"Looking for a sports bar in Austin to see a game recently, we decided to try Legends. I was not at all impressed.
Negatives:
- hard to find
- it's in a Holiday Inn, and there were a lot of familes with kids there (this is at 10:00pm on a Friday night). It felt more like hanging out at Applebees than a sports bar.
- They have only one pool table and one dart board (both of which were taken up...

"Great location, friendly staff."Overall, a nice place to stay for price. Parking is 21.00 and there are not enough spaces for the two Marriotts that are adjoining. We returned to the hotel at 9 PM after dinner and there were only valet spaces left, so an additional 7 ...
"internet sucketh"I'm here for SXSW 2009 and the internet is unusable. You might wonder what I'm doing trying to make use of the internet in my hotel room, but thats what I paid for. I'd like to respond to an email or two while I'm here. Maybe use google maps to find someplace to eat? When I asked what was going on, they told me with pride they have a T1 serving the entire hotel with free wired...

"The location was convenient."Situated between power lines and a highway, the scenery isn't exactly enticing. The interior was no better with that stale smell and hard beds. The water temperature never got above warm and the air conditioner never got below 75 degrees. ...

"Beautiful Destination Spa"I went to Lake Austin Spa Resort for a girlfriend's pre-wedding bachelorette party. We were looking for a place to relax and unwind before the big day and Lake Austin Spa was the perfect spot. The facility and grounds are beautiful and the pool is a great place to lounge. We all got different treatments and then relaxed by the pool and sunbathes. My massage was awesome and we even had lunch in...
"To Far aware from town"Prices are high and it is just to far from my work or home. Massage was okay but I will probably go back to my regular in town therapist.

The Austin Motel is known as the penis motel in Austin because of it's unique phallic neon sign. The text on the sign says "so close yet so far out" which indicates how close the motel is to the city center, the town lake, the bat bridge, and the motel is right in the midst of the SoCo trendy neighborhood.
"SEND YOUR ENEMIES HERE"I have stayed in many motels over the years, but none as bad as THE AUSTIN MOTEL. I can't even begin to explain the horror and torture my wife and I experienced from the motel and it's owner/staff. OVER-RATED, OVER-PRICED Please take our word for it. The Austin Motel is not worth your time or money. By the way, the staff "accidentally misquoted" the price.

"Beautiful view from Lady Bird Lake"I typically don't stay in a hotel in my local town, but a few mishaps with my house has lead me to stay here. I love the view, the staff and the accomodations. Since this is a business travel hotel, the best time to stay is during the week. It's nice and quiet and the service you receive is out of this world.
And the Hyatt beds - wow. I want one!
"Fajitas aren't what they used to be."Back to La Vista after many years. Fajitas we below avg. Chicken had no flavor. Beef was just OK. Meat was not cooked with bell peppers and onion. They were added on top. Pico was not fresh and guacamole was likely food service special. Tortillas were soft and mushy - needed a few secs on a grill. Stay home and buy the HEB ready to cook or pre-cooked. They are better.

"Best Green Hotel in Austin!"?Habitat Suites is an oasis in the middle of Austin, Texas. Their commitment to Ecological Consciousness sets the bar for Green Hotels. Enjoyed an awesome (and sustainable) breakfast of eggs (from happy chickens raised at a local farm) with biscuits plus gravy or local fruit. The grounds have integrated vegetable gardens with indigenous plants and they often donate vegetables to the homeless....
"Habitat Suites Hotel by allison h. at InsiderPages "This hotel is not the best hotel in the world. I thought it to be expensive and overpriced for a measly two star hotel. The staff here were alright. I was not impressed by the room. The decor was pretty plain in my opinion. The staff here were actually pretty nice, but they did not make up for my discomforts here.

"Best Wedding Spot in Austin"I had a certain image of what I wanted my wedding to be. Lauren at Vintage Villas helped me create the perfect evening! I couldn't be happier! She was absolutely amazing to work with and made the evening so beautiful. Even though the bartender was rude it didn't matter because the food, the view and the service of everyone else was outstanding. I couldn't have asked for anything more!!

"Beautiful place, great service, great food, chill atmosphere!"kcf78749's lack of insight and her date's poor manners, coupled with only a patio visit, are no reason to give anything (not to mention such a marvelous place) 3 stars. Obviously, someone can read her review and see she is an airhead, but it affects the star rating outside the review. What a dummy! It's a four-star (perhaps 4.5 star) place. So, I'll balance out her childish stupidity with...
"Hotel San Jose"San Jose: one of the absolute worst experiences ever. Fairly expensive (we paid $185/night) so it's reasonable to expect upgraded amenities. There are very few (decent location; video/CD library). The Hotel "hosts" a poolside party on weekends 'til around midnight (they don't tell you this when you reserve). The noise made it impossible to sleep in our poolside room. Noisy, naked guests in...
