"Best on the block"We are fortunate enough to have Red Barn, Countryside & Hill Country Landscape all less than a mile from home. Hill Country is our absolutely fave though. The prices, selection and people can't be beat!!

"Help for household repairs"Breed's is the only centrally located hardware store I know of, so I run over there a lot. There are always plenty of people to help you find the right tool for a repair, locate the right size air filter, or give advice on staining cabinets. They are a little pricier than the big box places, but I save time because the parking is closer and you can find people to help you!

"Hidden gem by Amanda B. at InsiderPages "I recently discovered this great nursery tucked away in east Austin just outside of Manor. They have tons of Texas native perennials, shrubs, vines, you name it. I was especially surprised when I saw their prices; not expensive at all.

"Don't Waste Your Time or Money"We had 20 yards of dirt delivered for top dressing - the dirt that they sent was ridiculous. It had not been screened and had large twigs, rocks and other things in the dirt.
