The bellini was excellent but there was nothing especially italiany about the italian margarita. "Dependable and cozy"Vinny's is the last of the old traditional Italian restaurants in Central Austin. My whole family (elderly parents, teens, kids, spouse) loves the atmosphere. The pasta primavera is always great. Convenient location for downtown workers and residents, and friendly staff in our experience. Don't come if you are in a rush or are a food snob.

"not that impressed"the italian food was only decent and the service was lacking too. the waiter never checked on us as we were dining and seemed to not even care about his job. our food was barely even warm and they did a sloppy job of chopping the tomatoes up for my pasta (big chunks i could have choked on). overall, i was less than impressed.
