"No problem, no charge"I brought in my 92 Dodge Dakota that I thought might have a problem since it seemed to be slow to shift for the first block. Tim checked it out and found no problems. He didn't even think that it needed new fluid. I feel that I got an honest assesment and not a sales job. There was no charge for his help. I will be back when I have a real problem.

"Fast service and can pull it yourself! "It's been a few years since I last went to a junk yard. Anyway the folks at Capitol City were great. They had a tail light I was looking for and at a reasonable price. Easy to find this place and I will be back for more stuff in the future! I thought the "you pull it" places were no longer around but not here. They have part pullers if your willing to wait or bring your tools....

"Upfront mechanics who keep you involved and informed"These guys are good to customers. I broke my transmission last year, but wasn't sure how badly. They were upfront about the entire investigation and estimation process. And though I must admit that their initial estimate more than doubled by the time it was all done, I don't think they were being "shady" - just discovered more work that made the bill climb.
I would recommend them.

"bad store management and upsale"A good experience in 2011 now awful. 2 hour waste of time on a simple procedure. In the 2 hours I was these not one person paid for work. Everyone left dissatisfied.not to mention the phone calls you could hear them having from the waiting room. Seems to be a theme.
The crush washer on my sealed tranny had developed a leak from the service last year. (I suspect they used the original crush...
