"Fox has been my service company for years"We've used Fox for years. Thier technicians are always courteous and they never leave a mess. They are not the cheapest in town but always provide great service for the price. I also use them at my business.
"Call a local guy instead"Fox told us that we needed to replace our A/C four years ago, but I decided to get a second opinion so I called an A/C guy that is independant (Mr.Cool). He told us our unit was perfectly fine and that he could easily fix it. He did, and we are happy four years later. I wouldn't trust Fox. They are too expensive and try to get more money out of you. The local guys are much better.

"Good service if you know how to play their game."When you call and are told there is a fee for an estimate tell them forget it, they will then wave the fee. When you get the estimate tell them again to forget it and a call will be made for a lower price. Other than having to play the car dealer like price game they have great service.
"not recommended"I was new in Austin and Benjamin Frankin, Austin is the first plumbing service I used. Basically, there are three issues: (1) When I was told the estimation is free, it is just kind of cheating. When the estimation was done, I was told that I either use the service, or I have to pay $108 "diagnostic" fee, which is not covered by the "free estimation". In my case, no ceiling or wall was opened....
