Saved my dog
The staff at Banfield worked tirelessly after hours and over night when my dog was sick. My guy was basically dying, and he is alive only because of the dedication of the Banfield staff. I want to thank them.
Also, they found us an affordable way to pay. We ended up saving hundreds and I have saved thousands since being on the Optimum Wellness Plan.

Biggest selection of beer in SM maybe even ATX -- GOOD FOOD
This place has it all. I wish I could go everyday.
1. The burgers are amazing. And so is the philly, and the chicken is divine. Don't forget the fries, they're to die for.
2. BEER. There are so many types of beer here it's not funny. And the waitresses and waiters KNOW about the beer! They probably have to try am all before they get hired or something because I've, on many occasions, told them what kind of beer I'm in the mood for and they have delivered. Magic Hat is my personal favorite.
2. Price, the food is the same price as a meal at mcdonalds but the burger is the best in the city. These people know how to treat their customers.

Luxury apartments with non luxury prices - check
I've lived here a year, and I have just put in my paperwork to renew. The apartment I'm in is a 2 bed 2 bath (huge bathrooms, GARDEN TUB, shoe closet), 1200 sqft. It's huge. Whatever you expect I'm paying, it's less. These apartments are very new, very nice, very big, and very affordable.
The people working here aren't fake, they won't smile and take your money, they'll talk to you. The grounds people are awesome too. They always say hi, and are very friendly, amiable people. Not only are they friendly, they're good at their jobs!
Every time I tell my friends where I live they give the same response "Oh those look nice!" You can almost brag when you tell people where you live. And I'm in walking distance from Texas Roadhouse. Texas Roadhouse is one of the best places to eat in San Marcos and their happy hour is awesome! 1.50 margaritas, 2.00 high life all day.
Villas at Willow Springs a great place for families and students alike. There are even several retired couples around me.
I've looked at a LOT of apartments since I've been in San Marcos, and there's always something about each place I don't like (most of the time its the size, and the age, and attitude of office staff) but the Villas don't have any of those problems. It's VERY hard (especially in a college town like San Marcos) to find a complex run by people -- actual human beings that care more about how you are and your living experience than how much money they can squeeze out of you.
Oh I can't forget to mention that they're PET FRIENDLY. Yes I have 2 dogs and everyone in the office and the maintenance staff all know them. If you like to talk about pets well you're in the right place! They don't see pets as evil, and they'd be glad for you to bring your best friend :) There are doggy clean up stations all over too, so you can save on doggy bags.
