There are very few driving ranges in Austin area open to public. This one is a good deal. The driving range is always in fairly good shape and they have 2 practice greens and a sand bunker. The best part is that the range balls are recycled golf balls people have donated. I've played the 9 hole course as well and they keep it in good shape. One more thing. I talking about the Harvey Pinick Golf Campus at 183 and 51st street, by the YMCA.
Never had major issues there, but on 11-22-11, we were sort of scolded for trying to play 5 where 1 of the player's wife showed up. Don't see the big deal when traffic was slow. Besides all that there were a couple of two guys who were sneaking by players to move ahead. Total terrible experience. Don't know if I'll go back anytime soon. Marshal was rude. It was like "rules are rules". bYE
